This spring, the city of Greenville Planning and Development Services’ Housing Division held a groundbreaking ceremony on the site where Bill Clark Homes will build four new homes in Lincoln Park in Greenville, NC. Part of a revitalization effort, this project will provide affordable houses for first-time homebuyers or families who may not have otherwise had this opportunity.

Bill Clark started his company in Greenville over 40 years ago with the goal to provide people with affordable, high-quality homes. 

Throughout the years, Bill Clark Homes has built many new homes in Greenville and beyond that have stood the test of time and improved the areas in which they stand. The reputation Bill Clark Homes has built as a quality home builder certainly contributed to the Greenville City Council’s unanimous decision to have us help with this revitalization.

The new homes in Lincoln Park will be built near the corner of Bancroft Avenue and Fleming Street. Construction is expected to be completed in summer. The city plans to work with a realtor to find eligible buyers. Greenville does not expect to make money on the sale, and has already said they will not keep any profits. The goal is to offer current residents of Lincoln Park more opportunities for home ownership. 

Lincoln Park is a priority zone for community development in Greenville, and the city is actively working to revitalize the area. Other improvements have included paving the streets and adding more lighting.
