We are seeking a motivated New Home Sales Consultant to join our team at Bill Clark Homes. As a New Home Sales Consultant, you will work on-site directly with Homebuyers, as an integral part of the Community Team, as you help them navigate the home-buying and home-building process, providing excellent customer service.

Schedule & Location : 5 Days per week / Monday - Sunday Varied, Full Time, In-Person Only

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for representing Bill Clark Homes in the Model and serving as the community expert to provide information to all prospective and active homebuyers. 
• Respond to all sales phone calls, emails, web inquires, etc. 
• Work with your community team to ensure all on-site responsibilities are completed and become an extension of the Company while working with clients. 
• Utilize lead management software (CRM) to manage and nurture leads and Realtors through a series of follow-ups to maintain continuous engagement.
• Utilize strong prospecting skills to work all leads until they are ready to move to the next phase of the sales process.
• Provide accurate and detailed information about our communities, home plans, features, pricing, and available homes and homesites to prospective buyers.
• Build and maintain a strong relationship with potential homebuyers, understanding their preferences, needs and priorities to tailor the best home options. 
• Conduct outbound calls and emails to active prospects.
• Assist clients in navigating the entire home buying process, ensuring they feel confident and well-informed at each stage.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions and transactions in the CRM system.

Qualifications:

• Experience in sales, online sales, digital marketing, or customer service a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft products preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability establish rapport and build relationships with teammates and clients.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate information clearly and concisely.
• Willingness to learn and support team members in a fast paced environment. 
• Detail oriented and organized, capable handling multiple tasks confidently.

Job description:

Bill Clark Homes is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Architectural Drafter / CAD Technician to join our team. This position will support the development, modification, and maintenance of residential home plans and construction documents used throughout our communities.

The ideal candidate has strong CAD skills, an understanding of residential construction, and the ability to translate architectural concepts into accurate, buildable construction drawings. This position will work closely with our construction, purchasing, sales, development, and design teams, as well as outside architects, engineers, and consultants.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced homebuilding environment.

Key Responsibilities

Residential Plan Drafting & Design

• Create and revise residential floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction documents.
• Modify existing home plans to accommodate customer selections, community requirements, site conditions, and design changes.
• Develop accurate CAD drawings from sketches, markups, specifications, and design concepts.
• Prepare permit, construction, and architectural drawing sets.
• Maintain consistency and accuracy across all sheets within a plan set.
• Incorporate architectural, structural, engineering, and design revisions into construction documents.
• Assist with development of new home plans and modifications to existing plans.
• Develop and maintain standard details, construction details, and drafting standards.
• Assist with creating plan options, elevations, structural modifications, and other plan variations.

Construction & Technical Coordination

• Work closely with construction personnel to ensure plans are practical, accurate, and buildable.
• Review drawings for potential conflicts, omissions, constructability issues, and inconsistencies.
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural plans, truss layouts, engineering documents, and other consultant drawings.
• Communicate with architects, engineers, vendors, and other outside consultants regarding plan revisions and technical questions.
• Assist in resolving field questions and drawing-related construction issues.
• Incorporate lessons learned from construction into future plan revisions and standard details.

Plan & Document Management

• Maintain an organized electronic library of current home plans, elevations, options, details, and construction documents.
• Ensure construction teams are working from the most current approved plans.
• Maintain accurate plan revisions and revision histories.
• Establish and maintain consistent CAD layering, naming, file organization, and drafting standards.
• Assist with maintaining a master library of company-standard details and components.
• Archive outdated plans and revisions appropriately.

Community & Product Support

• Modify home plans to meet individual community architectural guidelines and requirements.
• Assist with creating community-specific elevations and plan variations.
• Support the development team with plan adjustments related to lot dimensions, setbacks, grading, easements, and site constraints.
• Assist sales and marketing teams with accurate floor plans, elevations, renderings, and other plan-related materials as needed.
• Help evaluate the feasibility of placing home plans on specific lots.

Cross-Department Collaboration

• Work closely with Construction, Purchasing, Sales & Marketing, Development, and Design.
• Participate in plan review meetings and product development discussions.
• Respond promptly to plan-related questions from field and office personnel.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve plan efficiency, construction quality, and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

Required

• 2+ years of experience in architectural drafting, residential drafting, CAD, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of residential construction and building practices.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Preferred

• Experience drafting single-family residential homes.
• Experience working for a home builder, architectural firm, or residential design company.
• Experience with residential construction documents and permit drawings.
• Knowledge of North Carolina residential building codes.
• Experience with other software programs such as Revit, Chief Architect, SketchUp, etc
• Understanding of structural framing, roof systems, foundations, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical layouts.
• Experience modifying production home plans and developing plan options.
• Experience coordinating with structural engineers and truss designers.

Bill Clark Homes is seeking a detail-oriented Residential Estimator to join our team in Greenville, NC. This position is responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate cost estimates for residential home plans, options, materials, and labor.

The ideal candidate has experience in residential construction, strong analytical skills, and the ability to read construction plans and specifications. Experience with construction estimating software and ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate cost estimates for residential homes, options, and upgrades.
• Review construction plans and specifications to determine material quantities and costs.
• Obtain and review vendor and subcontractor pricing.
• Maintain current pricing for materials, labor, and subcontracted work.
• Update estimates as plans, specifications, and costs change.
• Identify discrepancies and opportunities for cost savings.
• Work with purchasing, construction, drafting, and operations teams to ensure accurate and consistent estimates.
• Maintain organized cost databases and estimating records.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential construction, estimating, purchasing, or a related field preferred.

• Experience with production or semi-custom homebuilding.
