Many people do not associate Wilmington, NC with major motion pictures and hit televisions series, but they should. Since the 1980's, the areas has hosted an active film industry. With incredible backdrops ranging from the historic downtown, low country landscapes, all things coastal, plus the state-of-the-art studios, it serves as a perfect location for projects of any scope. 

We'll take a tour through some of the more memorable projects filmed right here in Wilmington, NC. If you're up for it, rewatch some and see if you can identify some of the on-site local scenes.
