The North Carolina Home Builders Association presented the 2022 STARS Awards Gala on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at the Embassy Suites in Concord, NC. These annual awards are a focal point for the Home Building industry across the entire state of North Carolina and honor the achievements of industry professionals. Winners receive recognition in marketing and advertising, web design, sales/information center, landscape design, interior merchandising, architecture/floor plans, remodeling/renovation, and special projects. The new Greenville Design Studio has been a long-awaited project that allows Bill Clark Homes of Greenville to continue improving our services to fulfill our client's needs and vision for their new home! We have focused on providing more layout options our homebuyers can visualize, especially in relation to Kitchen and baths, than in our previous design space. Other features we incorporated will enhance our Design Team's ability to go from concept and design to reality in creating a beautiful yet functional space to call home!

BEST LOGO DESIGN - The Sanctuary at Sunset Beach

The composition of the Sanctuary logo is based on the location of this new home community. Sunset beach is home to a bird sanctuary, thus "The Sanctuary at Sunset Beach," and a bird emblem as the logo. We wanted the representation of the bird in the logo to be abstract and not distinct to any one species because the Sanctuary is home to various bird types.

Once we finalized the logo, we employed the bird imagery as the unifying motif for the entire community brand. 

Some examples include the logo on the front center gable of the clubhouse's exterior, engraved into the tabby on the fireplace in the outdoor pavilion, and the two 10-foot sculptures in the center of the water fountain at the community entrance.

Our Marketing team created two crane bird illustrations to resemble the oversized crane sculptures. We use these crane images as a motif in our marketing pieces. Everything started with our abstract bird logo, and now the entire brand of the community is unified.
